Grimsel Pass is a mountain pass that crosses through the Bernese Alps in Switzerland, reaching an altitude of 2,165m. It is thought to have been used as far back as the Roman Times. Due to the altitude and location, the pass receives high levels of snowfall each year, and is even known to receive snow in the middle of summer.
